"Not for fishing at all. Very run down and no bathrooms."
"This park has possibilities, but it needs work. Getting into the parking lot alone is hassle, with huge potholes to get over. The gravel path out in the open is walkable, but there's not a lot to see. There is a sort of path into the woods, but it's always really muddy, and it doesn't go very far."
"Nice little nature area. Its about a half mile loop. Good spot for a quick stroll and spot a few birds and native wildflowers. Low area so it does get swampy at times. The mild flooding helps with plant and bird diversity."
"The park is very rustic and that is part of the charm. Very quiet never very busy. A good place to walk your dog. Parking is limited but should not be a problem since it is always not busy. A nice creek runs along side the park. There are deer trails that are a nice walk if you leave the gravel trail. The only negative note is the park is not very well maintained there is a fair amount of garbage through out the trail"
"I walk my dogs here. It's a wonderful retreat and close to home but the paths could use a lot more gravel. It's swampy so don't wear tennis shoes. I'm very thankful St. Paul created this space and hope it continues to get better."
