"Please get out and enjoy our beautiful state parks. My great grandfather helped build the stone shelter & worked on other construction sites completed during the CCC era under President Franklin Roosevelt. We still reap the benefits of those before us, I wonder how many folks have enjoyed the park over the years,with the peace you find being outdoors again. Sugar creek is awesome for kids, clear and cold."
"A beautiful facility and great size. obviously the group before us did not take care of it like most people should, but the ranger made special note and we got it cleaned up before our kids arrived. reasons like this and people like that are the reasons places as nice as this don't exist everywhere. Great job Cuivre River State Park keeping this place open."
