Midway West Church

"First of all the folks at this church were always nice and always welcoming. The production was amazing. The staff is very talented. I was a regular attender because I was new to the area and the church was very close to my new home. I have to tell you my heart was broken And why I chose not to come back.. I was desperately seeking the good news and my soul needed the gospel. The messages I heard were very inspirational and I felt like it was a weekly peptalk. It felt good. But I felt something was missing. And then on Easter Sunday I realized what I was missing. The service was focused on the pastor and the churches anniversary. Barely a mention of Jesus or sin or sacrifice or resurrection. It was that day I realized that although these people were great, I needed to hear the amazing good news of the gospel every Sunday, not the amazing things that men can do. I don’t think you’re terrible people . It’s just that it was very sad for me and maybe by sharing this somebody’s heart might be touched. No ill will, just love and blessings. Thank you for reading"
