At the Lomax Fire Department, we value community involvement and continually strive to enhance our services. Our Annual Pancake & Sausage Supper is a beloved tradition, bringing together friends and family for a wonderful cause. It is events like these, alongside generous contributions from community members, that help us fund essential equipment and training.

Our regular business and training meetings ensure that our firefighters are always prepared to handle emergencies effectively. Recent sessions have focused on CPR renewal, carbon monoxide safety, and strategic firefighting techniques. We are thrilled to announce the anticipated arrival of a new Brush-fire/Rescue Truck, further enhancing our capabilities.

In addition to our firefighting duties, we actively collaborate with Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, offering ongoing education and training opportunities for both EMS and fire services. These courses, held at SCC's ERTC in Fort Madison, Iowa, are vital for maintaining the highest standards of emergency response.
