"The service rep was very nice, and I want to be gentle with my next words because she was so nice. However, the facility was so gross. Cigarettes, cats, blankets for doors, disorganization, paper clutter, not a single surface wiped down. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. But of course, the online portion that I pre-filled has problems, the truck itself was nasty and needed sweeping out, the trailer was not hooked up in the small lot so I needed to hook it up and get it out myself. And the final kicker was I had barely above 1/4 tank of gas. I want to pack up this uhaul with my relatively clean life's collections and leave. Instead I'm forced to smell like cigarettes, step on someone else's pretzels, attach the trailer, then gas up. The kicker is that I was shunted here from 20 minutes away (they stated it was truck-related) so I've wasted 1.5 hours of my life picking up this nasty truck from a gross facility. Send a U-Haul rep to this location please. She is nice, so be kind. Examine the trucks that are held there. Ask yourself if you'd want to spend an hour and a half there. "I highly recommend Uhaul! The prices aren't nearly as high as other competitive companies, use gasoline instead of diesel. I was given 1500 miles free to get from florida to illinois. We didn't have to go 70 mph the entire trip either. Most companies won't allow that but Uhaul trusts their customers and I honestly appreciate that."

"The process was quick, easy, and the store owner was very considerate and flexible of the U-hauls return time. It's nice to know that there's a u-haul rental on the Illinois side of the river that will do you right. Until discovering this location, which is much closer to where I live, I was always going to the Davenport, IA store. The main office isn't the cleanest but you're not going there to eat and to write a review complaining about that is quite over the top when you spend 15-20 minutes total in the office before you're on your way with the vehicle. They have an office cat there that is extremely nice and has one of the most incredible survival stories I've ever heard that's there for you to read as you sign your paperwork for the rental. A business that has a pet shouldn't concern you at all or be any reason why you don't give this place 5 STARS. I can think of dozens of other QC business including big name dealerships that allow Dogs and much more so that shouldn't be a negative for anyone. Will be returning if and when I need another."
