"Pastor Koengeter was there in the 70's. He baptized my sisters and I. Many of the youth were part of the "Luther League". We did many things like participate in a Christmas program, go Christmas caroling, and take field trips. Pastor K was an awesome influence in my life and he helped a great deal guiding me on my faith journey. He let me paint the sign out front and I felt honored to do so. There were ice cream socials and vacation bible school.... And my confirmation classes! My first communion...this church holds a special place in my heart and I thank God always for the experience."
