"This is a wonderful establishment for wheeled sports of all kinds. The smooth concrete surfaces are excellent. The whole place is pretty much a bowl, lots of transition. A nice step-up to manual pad that goes straight into a rather steep bank. Good 8 foot or so tall bowl for those who prefer that. Excellent trees and shade nearby, perfect for cooling off after a vigorous skate sesh. For Dubuque, and Iowa as a whole, this is an excellent skateboarding facility."
"I rode BMX here today, despite the park not being open and still "under construction". The skatepark is completely finished, so it doesn't make sense why it's surrounded with "no trespassing" signs. Furthermore, the city should update it's website that says the skatepark is opening fall of 2018, so people like me who live 2.5 hours away don't drive out there for nothing. The park is great and I'd highly recommend it. Hopefully the city gets it's act together and opens the park, or at least updates the notifications on the official website to reflect the current state of affairs."
