"Went to City Winery to see one of our favorite bands. Sound was so bad we left before the show was over. I don't know if the problem was the band's sound guy or the venue, but every other time we've seen this band, their sound was spot on. Our seats were by the side entrance and almost directly below the PA speakers. All we got was bass. When the band played quieter, acoustic type songs, the sound was OK but the rockers were horrible. As others have stated the seating is extremely cramped. They probably squeeze in about 20 percent more people than is comfortable or safe. Finally, pretty sure the drinks are watered down. My wife had a couple of gin and tonics and said they were mostly tonic with hardly any gin. I wish I could report a better experience but overall, it was not good. I will not go back."

"The City Winery is a nice intimate venue with delicious drinks and wonderful music. The wait staff were all very attentive and knowledgeable. I enjoyed everything over all. The only thing Cons is seating. This venue definitely occupies every possible seat option available. If you are someone who needs space, purchase an additional seat room."

"I was ultra excited when City Winery came to town (St Louis, MO). I am an advert concert goer that prefers a more intimate venue because nightclub seating is the best way to experience any concert. City Winery fits that bill and more. Furthermore, because you are in close proximity to the artist more than likely you are able to connect with them one on one. Finally, I have been to approximately 30 concerts since this location opened. Love, Love, Love, Love City Winery"

"I had the opportunity to finally visit City Winery, St Louis location and it did not disappoint! Had a wonderful evening with friends as we experienced the artistry of Kindred the Family Soul. The atmosphere was top notch! The drinks are really good. Food not so much. The tables are positioned close together, but we enjoyed ourselves all the same. I'd definitely go back."

"The show opener and Lyfe Jennings put on a great show!! Both were very engaging with the crowd. Eating excellent food while listening to great created an atmosphere that I haven't witnessed before. My fiance and I will definitely be going back to future shows."
