"Found out this place is just an open field near a private residence on the edge of town. Goose Lake athletic field is close by. I had only an hour to explore this due to the sun setting. But upon my arrival noticed a sign out front near entrance that public hunting is permitted there. Not knowing which season it is currently I decided to abandon my exploration. Self preservation is always number one with me. From my observations the parking area is a small grassy lot. Mowed foot path leading out towards a wooded area. It looked appealing but with the sun setting and hunting permitted here I didn't venture out into the woods."
