Welcome to the Carbon Cliff Village Hall, the heart of local governance for the charming Village of Carbon Cliff, Illinois. Located at 1001 Mansur Avenue, Carbon Cliff, IL 61239, our village hall serves as the central hub for community affairs and local government operations. Established in the early 1900s, Carbon Cliff boasts a rich history rooted in the coal mining industry. Officially incorporated on January 12, 1907, our village has evolved into a thriving bedroom community nestled on the outskirts of the Quad Cities.

Today, Carbon Cliff is home to a vibrant community with a variety of small businesses, two hotels, and two gas stations, all contributing to the village's unique charm and appeal. Our village hall is committed to serving the needs of our residents, providing essential services, and fostering community engagement.

We are pleased to announce that petitions for the upcoming elections will be available starting August 20, 2024. Positions open for election include Village President (4-year term) and three Village Trustees (4-year terms). Petitions can be obtained during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, we invite all Illinois residents to participate in our Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on August 31, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds.
