"For the area it's located, it is a great little zoo. When we went, there were several construction projects going that would only make the zoo better. Would like to see more animals and attractions added but they appear to be headed that direction. Entry price was very reasonable. Prices inside on things were higher but overall expected at a small park that lives on that kind of stuff. Only gave 4 stars because of construction"
"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the zoo today! There is plenty to see and is good for all ages!"
"Perfect size for a toddler's first introduction to the zoo. The areas that have been refreshed and renewed over the last few years look fantastic. The keepers working to tell about giraffes were friendly and knew their information. I would love to see the bathrooms more up to date. Overall, this is a great regional zoo. They are going through construction right now due to weather related issues. I have no doubt that when done it will look even better."
"Just went on 6/18/2024. Have to make an account online to purchase tickets at $7(save$2) Then you have to pay for parking - in a giant parking lot with no more than 30 cars. $4 price for parking if paid thru the app. Electric scooters and wheelchairs available but $10 for the w/c , 25 for the electric……. The zoo has so much empty you just might as well go for a walk thru the grounds to see empty cages!! Very very disappointed in this place and my experience!!! I’ve been to free zoos and they are 100x better!! I do not recommend you stopping and wasting your time here !! Save ya money and go somewhere else !! They had one giraffe some farm animals(goats) and a couple monkeys , camel. And lizard. …. That’s about all… soooo much walking for you to see nothing !! Will never go back and never tell anyone to go there…. Listen to me !! I’m telling the truth!!"
"First time with my baby, a lot of the exhibits were closed but still the awesome experience inremember. Lots of fun, the trains always cool, fed some.animals. foods crazy priced so bring your own drinks and snacks. Good experience tho. Can't wait to go next year"
