"I grew up in this area but never heard of this lake. I have gone kayaking there twice now. I loved it! The water was calm. There were only a handful of fishermen in small boats and a few other kayakers. Most visitors seem to show up late afternoon. I circled the perimeter of the lake once and spent some time relaxing in the middle. There is a small picnic pergola with about 8 tables and only 2 portable toilets near the boat ramp and parking lot. I didn't use any of the amenities. So, I can't speak to their condition. There's a small, sandy beach."
