"Awesome display of lights for Christmas"
"Me and my girlfriend were driving through Lafayette one morning and we got pulled over for cutting off an officer, I admit that was my fault but what he did when he had us pulled over was highly inappropriate and not ok no matter what you did, after asking me for my license instead of talking to me more, the driver, he looked at her or more specifically he looked at her chest and started talking to her saying things like that shirt isnt very appropriate whilst staring at her chest the entire time I couldn't get his name or anything cause I felt so scared and intimidated that I wasn't thinking about that sorta thing in the moment so instead I'll describe him to y'all so you can stay vigilant for this dirt bag. He drove a grey camouflage Ford explorer if I'm not mistaken and had short great hair with a short grey beard and some very intense eyes you'd easily recognize if he stared at your chest with em like he did with my girlfriend."
"We were traveling Friday Sept. 1, 2023 and our car radiator blew up. After waiting 2-1/2 hour for AAA to come (they never came) Officer Brock Campbell of the LaFayette Police Dept. Came to our rescue because his boss asked him to check on us. The kindness and help given us was greatly needed and appreciated. Police are God’s angels and we certainly had one come. Thank you Officer Brock Campbell and your boss. Our car is being cared for and we continued on to our destination with all our family that showed up and had a fabulous time making memories! "I got locked out of my truck for two days and these officers went out of their way to help me. It may not seem like a significant deal, that's why I wanted to rate them 100 stars for being spit on and kicked, shot at, cursed, and are under appreciated. I appreciate them and pray the Lord keeps them safe in Jesus name"
"I just wanted to give a shout out to the police department here. I was waiting near the train tracks on 7/20 to get some pictures of TVRM's steam locomotive special and an officer pulls up. As a railfan, I was a little nervous, as historically, police have not always taken kindly to railfans standing around, waiting for a train, but I am pleased to say that this wasn't the case here. He just asked if the train was late (it was) then told us to have fun! Exactly how things should be! I only wish I could have gotten his name or car number to commend him specifically."
