Reviews of Dub Denman Canoe Trail Launch #1
"This is just a place to access the Tallapoosa River. There is a short wooded trail with river access too."
"I appreciate river access but the broken beer bottle glass in the sand is unacceptable. It’s embarrassing and a poor reflection on the community. It looks like the county is trying to keep it up. The Lazy River group should fund a clean up since they profit off that water."
"We came to check this out before we kayaked down the river. My dogs came for a swim, and they convinced me to play in the water too. The parking area is shady, and kept clean. The launch is cement. It is easy to access the water. There is a trail that follows the river to a spot where you can walk down to the river. This is where we spent most of our time in the water. Someone left a fish in a bucket. My dogs knocked it over, and freed the fish."
"Fun, scenic to kayak and camp alongside, but there are no fish in this river. Pack it in, pack it out folks. Please don't trash the river!"
