Welcome to the Clinton County Treasurer Satellite Office, conveniently located at 226 11th Street, DeWitt, Iowa, 52742. As a vital local government office, we are dedicated to serving the financial needs of Clinton County residents. Our responsibilities include the receipt, management, disbursement, financial reporting, bonds, and investment of all county funds. Additionally, we act as an agent for the State of Iowa Department of Transportation and the Iowa Department of Revenue and Finance.

In light of the upcoming construction at the Clinton administration building, we are committed to providing stability and continuity to our community by fully staffing our DeWitt office. We will be operational Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including over the lunch hour. This arrangement is expected to remain in place until March 2025.

The 3.8 million dollar remodel project is supported by funding from the American Rescue Plan and Clinton County taxpayers. With approximately 3.35 million dollars allocated from ARP funds and an additional $450,000 from county reserves, we are dedicated to ensuring minimal disruption to our services throughout this period. Any changes in project costs will be covered by county reserves, funded by local taxpayers.
