"Too many crooks. More residents need to pay attention to bad behaviour in city government."
"This message is really for the p.d. 2 years ago I had my lock cut off my locker at planet fitness in moline, the scum bag took my wallet and started a spending spree. I called Moline p.d. who sent a cop to take a report and then a detective. My cards were used at best buy, kohls, and jc penny in Davenport. $8,000.00 dollars later I called Davenport p.d because the card were used in Davenport. A very unfriendly lady told me that I would need proof to file a report. I waited for letters from the credit card companies killing time needed to get servillence camera evidence. A week later when I got the proof, Davenport said That I Had to report online, I did. They then accepted it. Now I know why this low life went to Davenport. It has been 2 years and I have not heard from anyone at Davenport p.d. I guess they new not to go to Southpark right across the street from planet fitness and go to Davenport because Davenport p.d. won't do anything about it. Davenport did all they could to dissuade me from filling a report and from what I see are doing nothing about it. Go to Davenport IA. If you want to do a crime, you'll get by with it. I didn't have to pay the $8,000.00 we all do! The slime got away with the merchandise. Thanks for nothing Davenport p.d."
"I don't wanna say they wanted to steal 'cause i owe nothing and they received the money. Fortunately they gave me my money back after, but judge by yourselves. To whom this may concern in the city if they really care."
"Crime and the seriously pathetic condition of streets warrants a review rating below the one star given. Shootings and vehicle theft top the list of questions to ask yourself as to why should you visit. The city has either not enough police to make the city more safe or perhaps the wrong team? Or leadership? Either way, Davenport is not as safe as it should be and the condition of the streets need addressed. WARNING: Avoid Davenport to reduce risk of bodily harm and vehicle damage."
"city hall is for the city officials only it seems. corruption runs rampant in this city. the judges and cops and attorneys all work together for themselves, not for the people. we need a good mayor and new leaders who will enforce law and rights of the people. do not move here or open a business unless you know someone with influence through the right channels. it is not a good place to raise a family. many areas are run down and they lost several of their federal programs that help rehab homes and/or buildings if there was ever any programs for that. the current mayor i heard said he works way too many hours and will not run again next election. vote dean weber for new mayor. he wants to address he poor crumbling infrastructure crumbling streets dilapidated abandoned buildings and many other issues that should have been addressed all along."
