Nauvoo Food Pantry

Welcome to the Nauvoo Food Pantry, a dedicated community initiative located at 35 North Page Street, Nauvoo, Illinois 62354. Since our inception on April 23, 1983, we have been committed to providing essential food assistance to families in need throughout the Nauvoo area. Our journey over the past 40 years has seen us at various locations, and as of November 14, 2023, we are proud to be situated at 1445 Mulholland Street, Suite "C", at the northwest corner of the New Community Center building.

Entirely volunteer-run, the Nauvoo Food Pantry thrives solely on the generosity of grants and donations. Your support is crucial in helping us continue our mission to fight hunger. We welcome donations in various forms:

Product Donations: We are always in need of store-bought canned goods, cereals, paper products, laundry detergent, household cleaning supplies, dish soap, and personal hygiene products.

Cash Donations: Monetary contributions allow us to purchase food at a significantly reduced cost from the River Bend Food Bank, where every dollar can be leveraged to buy up to five dollars' worth of food. Cash donations can be directly deposited at the State Bank of Nauvoo or mailed to the Nauvoo Food Pantry, P.O. Box 98, Nauvoo, IL 62354.

Our dedicated board members, including Melody Bollin, Rob Glass, Meredith Griffiths, Linda Hardy, Sandy Harman, Kathy Schoeni, Terry Knoke, Deb Moffit, John Siegfried, Peggy Siegfried, Paul Sly, Cathy Stevenson, Barbara Ziegler, and Shari Gerhardt, are always available to discuss how you can contribute to our cause.
