Welcome to Jefferson Park, your serene escape in the heart of Davenport, Iowa! Located at 1012 West 12th Street, Jefferson Park offers a tranquil setting for relaxation and outdoor activities. Whether you're looking to enjoy a peaceful walk, a family picnic, or just some time in nature, our park provides the perfect backdrop for your leisure.
Please note that Jefferson Park is open for the season from September 21, 2024, to January 10, 2025. In collaboration with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, we prioritize the safety of our community. As such, hunting on public lands, including all City parks, is no longer authorized. However, hunting on private lands within City limits is still permitted. For those involved in deer harvests, please ensure you report check-ins virtually within 24 hours by emailing [email protected]. In-person check-ins are no longer available.
We are also excited to announce that Davenport Parks and Recreation is hiring part-time positions throughout the year. If you have diverse skills and a passion for working outdoors, we invite you to join our team!
