"Devonport Commons has quite a few stores so it is convenient when you have to pick up lots of different stuff. These are some of the anchor stores in the Commons: Walmart, Sally Hair Supplies, Dick’s House of Sport, Golf Galaxy and Hobby Lobby. The WalMart store there relies too heavily on self checkouts and doesn’t seem to have enough open or ready. People get confused as to which ones are open and it seems to cause a lot of frustration there. I am a WalMart + subscriber so I use the Scan and Pay in the app on my phone so that I don’t spend much time at the checkout. You just scan a box on the screen and pay and that’s it. I love that I’m through the front end in a couple minutes and on my way out the door. It’s a great way to shop! I usually end up checking out Hobby Lobby and Dick’s before driving home too. Check it out next time you’re in Davenport!"
