"When starting the process with Dustin, we had an excellent experience. He was nice, attentive, and very helpful. It almost felt too easy. Dustin informed us we could build with no issues and that he could meet all of our needs. Unfortunately, about three months into the process, communication went to a stall. We went from a weekly touch base, to nothing. The replies that we were able to get, became short and not genuine. It was almost like it was a different person. Finally, we were able to figure out what happened. Dustin informed my wife that his dad said that we could not build as planned. He said that the home would not appraise and we would have to bring an extra 30k to closing. This was really unexpected, considering everything was great up until that point. My advice would be to talk directly with the father who owns the business, as it felt like Dustin over promised and did not right fit us in the beginning."
