"Eric Anderson of Compass Homes of NW FL did some works for us in the summer of 2018. He rebuilt a frame around a front window that was rotted and put a new window in place. The newly installed window was leaking and instead of replacing it, he cut a part of the exterior frame and put some silicone in it and in doing so, he voided the manufacturer's warranty. This window he installed has a different color tint, therefore not matching the rest of the nearby windows. He also left us with missing parts of the inside window frame. After rebuilding the stucco around this front window, one spot was missed, leaving the wall exposed to water intrusion. We also paid him for some additional window works around our home that he thought showed signs of more rotted wood; however, after removing the stucco from the wall they were not. In addition to the window works, he also replaced two external doors. Both doors are not closing well and one is leaking inside our home when rain is coming from a certain direction. We tried to contact him over the phone, with text messages, with a certified letter and through the BBB without success. He blamed Hurricane Michael for the issues, but we have pictures taken before the storm that prove otherwise. It would have been a simple warranty issue and since he got paid in full, he didn't care to stand behind his workmanship. So sad. Be aware that he works together with Todd McDaniel of A&K Floors and more (aka A&K Floors & Walls)."
