"Went there last weekend and had such a magical adventure. Not only was it beyond peaceful and absolutely breathtaking we were able to walk down into the marsh and watch the coastal college students measuring the periwinkle snail. Very well maintained and I literally felt like I was in a magical forest by the ocean. Great place to take the family and children"

"Arrived late morning Sunday May 14, 2023. It was a really lovely day the wind was breezy and the air warm but not hot of humid. It's a short trail that due to the constant breeze was sand gnat free but under other conditions the sand gnats could be troublesome. Lots of interesting informative panels and if you looked there was a surprising amount of wildlife. Were both liked that the interpretive materials tried to put you into the context of where you were. Sort of your we're here in the middle of 350,000 acres of Georgia salt Marsh. WOW! Sorry trail, short time, lots of wow!!!! You need to see this."
"Upon arriving in the parking lot the entrance is located to the left of the Coast Guard headquarters. There are benches, a picnic area, and covered gazebo. The trail itself is very short but very lovely. It is a nice respite from the surrounding city."
