"Lesson Learned: If you have starter trouble, take you vehicle to a transmission expert like Bernie at Sterling. I brought my F250 to a competitor (whose name is ____ and ____ ) for a starter job, which requires disconnecting the transmission. When I went to pick up my truck, i could not even get it out of the parking space. The other shop damaged the torque converter and pump when the disconnected and reconnected my transmission, and the truck was not even driveable! Worse yet: they refused to admit fault!!!! I towed it to Bernie. He went out of his way to explain what happened to the other shop, even let their mechanic come to Sterling and showed them what happened. Thanks to Bernie, the other shop finally came around and they paid the $1200 to fix what they broke. I trust him. I recommend him. Use him for transmissions and for starters too! Someone who isn't a transmission expert can turn a starter job into s nightmare."
