"One of the most beautiful sanctuaries in the upstate. Loved the stained glass brought in by the blockade runners of the Confederacy, this old church has so much history. Make sure to visit when the organist is practicing, the sounds of the pipe organ against the backdrop of Trinity make for a reverent and spiritual experience."
"Nestled in the heart of Abbeville, SC, stands a majestic church that has witnessed more than a century of history. Trinity Episcopal Church, a Gothic Revival masterpiece, is a proud member of the National Register of Historic Places. Its soaring steeple and crowning cross grace the Abbeville skyline with elegance and dignity. The tower, adorned with corner pinnacles, has a recessed front entrance and double doors. Every day, as the sun sets over the historic Trinity Episcopal Church in Abbeville, SC, a spectral figure emerges from the shadows. She is Elizabeth Marshall, the ghost of a 19th-century woman who met a tragic fate in this town. On 10/28/2023, a brave photographer captured her image in front of the church, where she stands in silent sorrow, gazing at the world she left behind."
"We got in late but very beautiful. You could feel the past history at night but very serene."
"It's an old church with gothic styling. Under renovation but still a beauty. Just a minute walk from Abbeville downtown."
"I go there on Monday and Thursday from 7-8pm. Attend a Great meeting with positive people who helps me with my addiction and also is addicts themselves."
