"This was the best restaurant!!! We visited Saint Simons and ate out every day for a week but nothing was so good that I would have taken the time to review it. On our last night, we drove to Brunswick to try this Korean restaurant and we were so glad we did!! They went above and beyond what I could have imagined. We were at first surprised at the prices of $15-25 a plate. But then the food came and we realized why. It was rolled out on a cart and the presentation was beautiful! The portions were huge and the service was better than any restaurant I've been to. The $20 Bulgogi (#5) was piled high on a cast iron skillet. I assumed the rice was under, but nope. The rice came separate in a small bowl along with all the toppings in individual bowls that they would refill for us consistently. My husband got $25 La gal Bee (#6) and it came out still sizzling. The steak was cooked to perfection. Again, piled high on a cast iron skillet. The meat from just one dish would have been enough for a family of 4. We also tried jap chae (#13) which was similar to the bulgogi meat but mixed with tons of translucent noodles. My son had seafood Ramen and chose medium spice... which was quite spicy! The chef joked with him that you always start with mild if it's your first time! Haha. We still ate it all and took home some bulgogi with rice and all the toppings. We loved all the toppings: kimchi, some type of root, bean sprouts, seaweed and cucumbers.Their kimchi is made fresh and delicious but our favorite topping was the marinated cucumbers. The owners were so incredibly nice and hospitable. We will definitely return again on our next visit to St. Simons."
"Top notch korean food. The ladies that work here are so kind and family like."
"Korean food tends to be expensive in the States but this place felt especially pricey. However, after tasting the food, it all makes sense. The portions are huge, and everything from the main dishes to the side dishes is delicious. The kimchi, in particular, tastes like freshly made kimchi, which I really liked. As a Korean, I can say that this place offers very authentic Korean food. However, the one disappointing thing was that they didn't use sticky short rice to cook the rice; instead, they used long rice. In Korea, no one eats long rice... The two ladies(Ajummas) working there are very busy but always check if we need anything."
"The place is amazing. I've traveled all over the world and I thought I knew good Korean food. One of my favorite restaurants in Almaty, Kazakhstan was a fine dining Korean restaurant but honestly? This place serves better food. It's funny because it has zero curb appeal. It looks like it'll be a greasy spoon hole in the wall but then when your food comes out it's simply delicious. It's set up in typical East Asian style with pics of all the food on the wall. I always like that. You can look at the menu with words then compare it to the picture on the wall. It's pricey it's worth every penny. If the food is worth the price I'll never complain. I'm happy to pay top dollar for amazing food. I've eaten at too many places around Brunswick now that are expensive but terrible. I think this place may be my new favorite restaurant. You should go. It won't disappoint."
"a trully majestic, fantastic, marvelous way of gaining weight and happiness. because of limited capacity of digestion. i had no chance to choose what to eat with bigger variety, but if i could, i hope they could start selling the 'hwang keum jung' sampler so i can invite my friends from all over the world, teach them the authenticity of Korean cuisines. They do no cheats, they will not charge you if you trully do not love their creations. God bless this fantastic place and i hope they could maintain this business to generation to generation. Thank you!!!!!!!!"
