"We passed and went down to see the river, a nice quiet path, this was in winter, currently everything is flooded, wait for the river to go down to go and bring mosquito repellent"
"This is also known as the CR 6 boat launch on Suwannee River maps. The river is at flood stage at the end of 2023, so we drove out to check it out. The dirt road into the launch has water beside it, and the road goes underwater before it widens. So we had to back up the 1/4 mile in, avoiding the road's water holes in reverse. Very cool, the river is flowing fast! There is no restroom, but usually room for several vehicles to park and turn around."
"Cute spot to launch canoes just stay away from the circular turnaround!! You will get stuck in the sand if you try to use it to turn around and get out that way. It's best to just pull in and back out. Drive very carefully as it is a 1-way street going in and out."
