Smith Park

"I stumbled upon Smith's park when I had to pull over and make an adjustment to the brakes on my bike. It's really a tranquil, cool little spot.. It's within walking distance from the town square. There's a gazebo with a bench. The place looks like it's in total disarray. It hasn't been painted in ages. The bird droppings were everywhere. The fountain although it's working, the water is completely algified. With a little bit of attention, it could be 5 star location.Oh, yeah. The bench in the gazebo is also falling apart"

"What a beautiful place tucked in between churches and Main St? My husband and I have been taking a picnic lunch, social distancing, and taking day trips every other Saturday. This was beautiful and quiet. We had a relaxing 45 minutes or so! Wish I'd gotten pictures!"

"A very nice cozy spot in the middle of downtown Carrollton. Not too much going on and not too much traffic so the noise is a bit lower thankfully, but you will have cars passing by through more populated hours. This location is also very good because it contains quite a few Pokemon go stops as well as sits next to various gyms. If you're the kind of person who is looking for an excuse to walk or get out and get mobile this is a great spot for that if you happen to play Pokemon go as the reason why you may be walking."
