Budget Brakes

"Take down the $100 brake job, it's bullshit. I questioned the employee and he said "starting at", sure... I'll bet no car starts at that price. Though the employee lowered the price from $175 to $145 which was reasonable and they got me in and out really quick. The service itself was fine, I'm just so tired of the bait and switch."

Once they analyze my brakes, they took me over and showed me the problem because it was so bad I was needing rotors. "Brakes were taken care of in a short amount of time. However, they priced front at $100 and back at $100 on the phone. After initial in person inspection, they quoted me a price for over $1000! I told them I only wanted the brake pads replaced. Haggled a few minutes and finally got them down to $294. Not sure what was done to my brakes even though I watched them closely, because now my wheels vibrate when going over 60 mph."

"Did not work well on my budget. Just swapped out pads, no rotors turned, no non directional finish on the rotors and paid way more than I thought. I’ve done my brakes since I’ve owned a car. Had no tools and no place to change at my apartment. Wanted to help a local business. I will not be going back. Buying new tools would have been cheaper. The mechanics were good, once they had the parts, did it quickly."
