"If you love cats - stop in here!! I've never been inside the store (I'm not into antiques), but I love cats, and I've stopped by to visit the 16-20 cats that hang out around the store multiple times. I pick up some treats at the dollar store and have so much fun feeding them. They aren't scrawny, and they look well taken care of. I really like this gray fluffy cat. She's so sweet and very noticeably pregnant! I wish I could take home her future fluffy kittens!"
"A simply fantastic antique shop, set in the corner of a surreal abandoned pedestrian mall, the pastel colours, brick walkways and lackadaisical flags look like something straight out of a Miyazaki film. It's very charming, in an otherworldly sort of way. The shop itself is equally unreal. One of the best I've seen south of the Mason Dixon line. The selection is of fantastic variety... bizarre pieces ranging from lampshades painted with eyes to demoniacal pewter ink wells. I strongly suggest stopping if you are in need of gas or a good stretch of the leg or imagination. The shop and surrounding mall are something you don't see often enough. A part of a dying breed of roadside American attractions that stay with us miles on down the road and somehow become an integral part of the trip. I strongly suggest experiencing this unusual shop. It is worth the small detour."
"Looked around today & felt very welcome. Owner talked with me about cats as I browsed ! I'm a big cat fan, so seeing six cats in front was exciting. They were well behaved. As for the store stock many items were in amazing condition. Large selection of classic paintings , as well as vases and other knick backs. Only bought a classic batman comic today (which was also high quality!) Will definitely be returning :)"
"Only store in an otherwise abandoned outlet mall. The first thing you notice is the front patio of the store is crawling with feral cats. Then you notice the sign on the door that says their toilet is broken and to please use the fast food bathroom several hundred yards away. The second sign you notice is that there is a 3 percent upcharge for using bank cards. I've made the unfortunate mistake of visiting the store twice in the past year. Both times I was met with the uncomfortable stare of the gentleman at the front desk who did not greet me or my mother. And I haven't even addressed the merchandise. A great deal of inventory was not priced. For those prices that were, the only thing I can say is they provided some entertainment. $300 each for a pair of faded, upholstered, non-designer swivel rocker chairs. $85 for a flower frog that you can easily find elsewhere for under $30. Anyone with a brain and an eBay account will quickly realize this is a waste of a visit. Merchandise is more comparable to what you would find at a thrift store rather than an antique store."
"I stopped by Southern Picker Antiques with my wife on our way travelling from Florida to Pennsylvania. They had many interesting items in a nice setting with many discounts. I picked up some nice first edition books. The shop operator was very pleasant and there was great music playing. I'd shop here again!"
