"I found myself at Personal Touch Laundry in a pinch: I was visiting from out of town and staying at a hotel when my toddler got sick in bed. Our hotel doesn’t have laundry onsite for guests so I looked up the closest laundromat and off I went. I explained to the owner what had happened and he said no problem - I got this, come back in 30. I did as instructed and when I asked how much he said the service on was on him. I tried to gov e him some money to pay but he wouldn’t not accept it. This small kindness from the owner meant the world to me and I therefore had to write a review and cannot recommend them enough for helping us out of a tough situation. From the bottom of my heart - thank you."

"We drop off our clothes here once in a while. The shop is owned by a husband and wife, who are very sweet. They always have our clothes ready the next day. They clean, fold, and bag them up for us. Price is per pound. However, comforters/blankets are very expensive to have them launder. You can bring your clothes and wash them yourself too, but most people seem to do the full service here. Took a star off for parking. If the other store fronts are busy, parking stinks. Backing out of spots is awful too, since you are backing out onto the main street."

"Unfortunately I will not be returning here for laundry service. Apon picking up my clothes the first time I was made aware of "THE RULE" from a man working here. The rule is, you can not bring clothes here that are turned inside out, an odd rule when you're paying someone to do your laundry, but okay. Yesterday I dropped my clothes off for a second time. Before doing so I begrudgingly dumped 3 baskets of laundry on my living room floor and turned everything right side in, all while thinking I may as well just fold the laundry myself, as this took about 30 minutes. Today I picked up my laundry where I was shocked to be scolded like a child by the laundry attendant for not following THE RULE. I told him I had sat and turned everything before dropping off, but he just kept rudely interrupting me saying again and again that "EVERYTHING was inside out" he also felt compelled to share thatb" I couldn't even help other customers because I was too busy turning all of your clothes, even the little baby clothes ere inside out, I don't want to put my hands in there!" Okay so I will do own laundry to avoid sitting for a half our and turning dirty clothes right side in, to then pay $40 to have someone be incredibly rude to me and argue that I didn't do it. It's too bad because I like to support local business, but never again."

"My brand new Maytag front loader died and can’t be repaired for two weeks! I brought my laundry to Sue in big black trash bags. Sue had it done the very next day. Washed and folded beautifully. Packaged in neat and tidy bags. I may leave my washing machine broken. We don’t live in Rockland...but, this sure is worth the drive to Rockland. Sue clearly takes great pride in what she does. And...I don’t have to spend an entire Saturday washing and drying laundry for a family of five!"
