French Cleaners 538 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02116

"I brought 4 silk dress (some very expressive) each of which I had worn once to events over the summer. They all came back with white streaks, smears, and stains on them. The straps on one of my dresses was even ripped and another dress had press marks on it indicating that the delicate fabric was burned. I was devastated when I got home and looked at my clothes. They were clearly not handled with care and none of the stains I had clearly pointed out looked like they were even addressed. I immediately went back to French Cleaners to show the manager and he was apologetic but defensive saying that he had no idea what had happened. While he offered to refund me, he asked me to sign a waiver to accept damages if they were to try to fix them which I was not comfortable with. I took my dresses to Shawmut Place, the dry cleaner down the street from French Cleaners, and the woman hugged me when she looked at my clothes and said she had not seen anything like this in her 32 years of work. She was able to fix the ripped dress in front of me but said the burn marks on my other dress were likely irreversible. I have attached photos here for your review. Do not trust French Cleaners with your clothes."

They then worked to help get those stains cleaned in time for my wedding which was less than 24 hours later. They were extremely professional and very responsive."
