"I have invested in real estate for over 20 years and have made it my sole job as of 8 years ago. Primarily, I renovate homes on the South Shore along side my investing partner. I was introduced to David 3 years ago while helping a friend look for a house. David was her realtor and I was there to look at the condition of the home with her. The thing that struck me was that David was so understanding to my friend's particular needs, as she needed a home to accommodate not only her and her children but also her aging mother. Despite her sense of urgency to purchase anything she could afford, he wasn't afraid to tell my friend that a particular house was not likely going to work for her situation. After several months of looking David did help her find and purchase the perfect house that checked all the boxes. He supported her every step of the way, not just in the way an agent would, but in the way a friend or family member would. When I had the option to make David the realtor for my business a year and a half ago, it was an easy choice. I have both bought and sold properties with David in that time. Even though it is something I am more comfortable with than most, he has been there to assist me on either end, not only with negotiations and closings, but also with the little jobs most people don't think about, like the various inspections that might need to be done prior to sale. He has even contacted town hall to ask questions regarding properties I was interested in buying if a seller was not able to answer my questions. During this time I have recommended David to several friends and he has acted as both a buyers agent and sellers agent for several people I know. He has treated all of them the same way he treated my friend 3 years ago - with understanding, honesty, and dedication. He is passionate about helping people throughout the purchasing and/or sale process and his integrity shows through his patience and persistence to make the best deal, to ensure his clients fully understand all of their options and to help them understand all parts of the process every step of the way. As we have worked together he has regularly visited my renovation properties so that he fully understands the scope of work that was completed. Through his suggestions and understanding of the market, I have become a better designer/renovator, as he is able to suggest things that buyers are looking for. It has also helped him understand and assess all aspects of a property. This knowledge helps bring buyers attention to areas of homes that could be hiding unforeseen problems and also helps him guide sellers in how to make small updates or improvements to get the best value for the home they are selling. David also has developed connections to a wide range of people in the industry including real estate lawyers, mortgage brokers, contractors and inspectors. These connections are available to provide buyers and sellers with the additional support they need from first meetings through closing, and even beyond. Unlike some larger real estate brokerages that have to make quotas and focus on sales, David is an independent broker and has no corporation assigning him to mandatory office hours, requiring he take the place of another agent to host open houses in homes he has never stepped foot in, or handing down so many clients that he is forced to juggle more clients than he can reasonably work with at one time. These are all responsibilities or requirements that I have seen corporate agents spend time on. David's time isn't spent in team meetings or on conference calls. His focus and time belongs solely to his clients, something that has almost totally disappeared from the world of real estate."
"Dave was our realtor for the sale of our second home and purchase of our third home over the summer/early fall. By advising us wisely on the list price, and getting us on the market as quickly as humanly possible, Dave maximized our sale in an unpredictable and crazy market. That set us up to buy our new house in the exact location we wanted. All the while, Dave was responsive and available, willing to show our house or take us to see potential houses whenever needed, be on the premises for the appraisal, smoke detector inspection, open houses, showings, etc. He answered our calls and texts every time, and kept us feeling confident we would find the right house when inventory was basically nothing. Dave was knowledgeable and personable throughout the entire 3 month process, from the initial walkthrough of the goals and timeline to signing the final paperwork.
