"Ms. Bowyer was great, she made the whole process easier. Highly recommended."
"Nice"
"I wanted to let those of you looking for properties to be very hesitant to pursue 15 Hillside Road in Hull. Also, I would strongly urge you not to use Jennifer Richardsson as your realtor. Having owned the house for 30 years the seller refused to disclose any details about the condition of the house stating he didn't know as it was a rental property. However, he chatted it up with our agent for over an hour arguing details of the home inspection. During the inspection, Jennifer told us several times the seller would address any safety or code issues. The seller then refused to do so. After a more thorough evaluation by a very respected electrician in Hull, both the electrician and our agent suggested we walk away from the property. It needs over 30k in electrical updates because of original knob and tube wiring. The electrician as well as information online states it would be very difficult to get homeowners insurance and if we did it would be 30-60% more than typical policies and would likely not cover the house in the event of a fire. We were pushed to make a decision the day of the inspection because there was "an offer waiting in the wings." When we did decide to walk the next morning (after having an electrician review the house) and requested our deposit back, they refused. Jennifer sent us an email telling us we should move on and had no right to our deposit and that we had tied up the property."
