"Apartment in poor condition (e.g. elevator). Called to ask about lease, they are extremely rude and disrespectful."
"Didn't respond to me ,no accountability of there staff ,the manager at Jamestown apts should be held accountable, very rude disrespectful and lies yes a liar"
"I personally lived at 1179 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02215 for a while and I COULD NOT MOVE OUT SOON ENOUGH. The location of the apartment complex I lived at in Fenway was the only good thing about it (and that’s what you’re paying for, the lot/land there is a Greater Boston gold mine). The particular building I lived in was managed unprofessionally and there was SO MUCH package and mail theft. But that wasn’t the worst part: my unit was infested with mice first, and then roaches. LOTS of roaches. Fineberg sent over multiple exterminators, but the problems still existed. They were everywhere, and it was so nasty. The building was falling apart, the 1920s-era elevator was constantly breaking down, and the residents were pretty loud and the smell of weed was perpetually present. Dodge a bullet by not leasing with Fineberg!"
"Lax communication, short-term profit emphasis, and unclear resident policies would normally be considered outrageous, but they're held as the platinum standard here at Fineberg, one of Boston's "fine"st rental management companies. Although company communications with me throughout my rental were clear, they instantly about-faced when I submitted notice that I wouldn't be renewing at the end of my lease. Immediately afterwards, my unit was shown a number of times to prospective tenants without notice while I was away, and emails to the company went unanswered. Upon visiting this office for an explanation and meeting with an operations manager, I was ushering into a side room and yelled at by a Mrs. (Ms.?) Green about my "unprofessional and unorthodox" behavior that supposedly implored me to want an in-person meeting after no company responses. My partner and another visitor clearly heard the violent conversation that unfolded, which was made known to me afterwards. None of this could be said without noting that 1687 Commonwealth (my former building) frequently received health and safety violations on its main entrance from the Town of Brighton for having garbage in the trash room that reached the ceilings as well as insect infestations, both of which I can fully attest to as a truthful and were common occurrences throughout the year. Lastly, I would be cautious of the positive reviews on this page, as Shant was the leasing associate whom I was in contact with before move-in. I can't attest to any others, but I find it hard to believe anyone external of this company would have any truthful, positive feedback. It's my belief that Finberg has been and always will be very profitable through exploiting the high-turnover buildings it owns (but doesn't maintain) in Brighton/Allston. To wrap this splendid review on a professional note: Fineberg was one of the lowest-quality and demanding clients we onboarded during my time working for one of this company’s vendors. Requests for more information were never returned, and troubleshooting calls often began with product-bashing and negativity. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that a company that treats its vendors poorly also treats its clients the same way, but I'm not sure what I expected. If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. It would be greatly appreciated!"
"Fienberg has a large quantity of apartments in Allston Brighton Brookline and Newton they do not require a security deposit and they typically pay the broker's fee"
