I think that the MLS listing definitely helped me sell my house - I got an offer the very fist weekend after listing the house, with some luck/timing factor as the house was previously listed with an actual agent and couldn't sell for over 3 months. I recommend using his basic tier (Silver) service as he didn't provide any of the features of the Platinum tier I paid for, so paying extra was a waste of money.
