"There units are derelict. Mice and roaches. I've witnessed it from a family member living in one of there units. They were forced out and there new unit is even worse. Still roach problems and want to increase rents. Absolute slumlords never fixed anything they should be investigated by the state"

"They're rude and only care about your money. They won't fix anything. They're APARTMENTS are roach and mice infested, if you're lucky you won't have bed bugs. They don't work with their tenants and do not care about their tenants one bit. You want someone to be rude to you on the phone??? They're great at that. I highly recommend not renting from them. They are horrible people. They're slum lords. We had squirrels and a nest of birds living in our ceilings and they did nothing to solve the issue. The birds came out of the ceiling and were flying around the apartment.... I am disgusted with BPB and how they treated my family and myself.... Rent at your own risk. Best of luck and best wishes. "Years ago, I rented a room from a property managed by BPB. It was my first place of my own, in 1989 or 1990. A wee, tiny room on the third floor - but it had it's own bathroom, and it was _mine_, so I was absolutely thrilled. In August of that year, however, one pane of the sole window was broken in a storm. I ended up with a triangular hole, open to the world and a good six by six by 8 or 9 inches. And when I finally moved out, in January of the following year, it was still broken - only a piece of cardboard and some duck tape keeping the elements (and critters) out, and my heat IN. That, despite WEEKLY complaints at the office, in person."
