"This bank is truly horrible. They attempt to rob people and have a number of ridiculous fees!! DO NOT BANK HERE it is worse than any bank I’ve ever had. #1.) They are NEVER available for their customers The ONLY phone line they have is automated #2.) MULTIPLE OVERDRAFT FEES: if you overdraft even 25 CENTS they will charge you an overdraft fee of $30 and even if your already over drawn they still allow your payments to go through just so they can over draft you AGAIN it can be a Netflix payment for 5.00 that happens monthly. Most banks I’ve had before … if I didn’t have the 5$ in my account the payment simply would not go through. Not with this bank! They allow the payment to go through just so they can OVERDRAFT. SCAM BANK HORRIBLE BANK CREDIT UNIONS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FOR THE PEOPLE NOT AGAINST THEM. DONT BANK HERE BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE"

"I have been a member at TFCU for 15+ years and have never had a issue until yesterday I am going to do my best to briefly explain what happened. I brought my daughter into the New Bedford branch yesterday to open up her 1st account it was my 1st time at this branch but it's closer to where I live and work now. So I was told that they couldn't accept her Learner's permit as a "valid form of identification" I needed to bring the hard copy however I explained that since COVID they have stopped giving out hard copies of permits and the only option is to print them. Despite having her social security card and 10 payroll checks all matching her name and address and me vouching that I am her mother I started to think that they really just did NOT seem to believe me about the permit because they kept saying they need the "hard copy" and then they said they would accept a school ID which we didn't have on us because she graduated in June of this year and the id is literally just a picture of her from Sophomore year with her name no other information but the lady still said that they would accept over her PERMIT!! How does this make any sense? Then I asked if we could cash her payroll checks they refused without even looking at the checks saying she can only cash a check that is to her from a TFCU account holder ok fair enough but I have a account with them and if we both signed the check I should be able to cash it for her they said NO so at this point it seemed like they just didn't want to do there job!! This experience seriously has me considering closing my accounts with them and moving to a different credit union."
