Reviews
"Multistory library with a lot of books/ other items on humanities and social sciences .Also houses a research centre, probably to library science. Has food court on the ground floor. See frustration among students on issues like distraction due to library staff conversation on intercom, late opening, poor maintenance of fountains/ building, and no F/U to recall issued books beyond Issuance date, etc.Surprised to learn that it is not open for study by general public or researchers. Need sufficient items on Science , Engineering, Medical, and other technical fields."
"Enjoyed studying on the quiet floors of this library - Although some times the librarian might check on you if you take long naps there."
"Old facility and rundown infrastructure. E.g. elevator is broken, water fountains work only on first and third floor. Water fountains on other floors are decommissioned. 6th floor balcony has random weeds growing on it, and seems permanently closed. Also quiet floors are way too loud for a library."
"1) Students are too loud 2) Staff at the counter acts confused. Even on the 6th floor at times students will shamelessly talk on there phone in the middle of the quiet zone! No wonder no graduate students are using the study carrels - better write from home. Janitors tend to operate too frequently, adding noise. The last few times I asked for my assigned carrel key the staff at the counter takes forever to retrieve it, saying: "Are you sure THIS is your number?!" and "I need to check with my manager". Yes, that's the carrel key number I used for the past months!"
"This library is awesome! So many places to study, and everyone is quiet and focused. It's also extremely convenient having a food court with about 10 options to choose from on the first floor just a few steps outside the library! Definitely would recommend!"
