"If I could give them no stars I would! This place is not the same at all since the sons took over. My family has done our wakes here for over 25 years and this last recent one was horrible! They were uncaring and unprofessional. My family member that we waked there had to have an autopsy and we could see the results of that in his head at the wake. When we asked if he could please cover it up, he pulled some flowers forward and told us that was the best he could do. Everyone there commented about it. Never mind how it traumatized my family seeing that. I highly recommend not using this funeral home. As I said before, it's not the same at all since the sons took over. I highly recommend people never wake there loved ones here. I could go on and on about the unprofessional ways everything was handled. Please do not use this place, your family could be traumatized too."

"I had my uncle waked there. It is a very nice place.Andrew was very nice and was a big help getting things together. Everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend this funeral home.It was a very good experience during a sad time."

"My family held my brother’s wake here in 2016 and because my mom had cancer and was very ill, I put hand sanitizer in a few places to help mitigate her exposure to germs. The men working at John J O’Connor that day removed it because they didn’t want it to “damage the furniture”. In the wake of the pandemic, I wonder if they are still so careless with people’s lives. My mother wound up dying later that same year, as did my father. Needless to say I chose a different funeral home for their services where the staff and owners were much more compassionate and accommodating."

"I can speak for my family and say 5 stars! Andrew O'Connor lead his team during our mom's wake service with impeccable attention to detail and compassion. I was tempted to leave a big tip in my mom's memory since Nana Maneikis was known for her overwhelming generosity. The setting was immaculate and extremely conducive to a safe Covid-19 gathering. The service team was made up of local gentlemen who were also consummate professionals. They made you feel unique and respected. The team was on duty well in advance of the family's arrival and everything was in tip top shape."
