"Bad customer service! Had to go through a lot of verification steps when I already provided them SSN number, checking account number, my identification number but they still did not let me resolve the problem. I have money in my account but couldn’t use it at to pay, even $2!!!"

"The customer service is garbage, I waited 45 minutes for a signature to be notarized AND after I wait they take someone else before me WHO just walked in and got me waiting another 25, if your looking for good customer service head on over to citizens. For no reason I should have to wait almost a hour and they take the person who just walked in cuz they're "friends"."

"I would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service. They dont want to help you. Not to mention their ATM doesnt even accept cash. It wont read read BRAND NEW bills or any bills for that matter. They are so willing to close your account whenever you confront them with a problem. If you have credit card bills to pay, forget using Eastern Bank for that. They don’t release the money to the credit card company in a timely manner and then they charge you an overdraft fee and the credit card company will charge you late fees as well."

"Always takes forever in there no matter how many customers or how many people are working. There are bankers that just hang around when there's a long line and worst when I get to the teller before she finishes my transaction she continually goes to take care of the drive thru customers comes back to me and back and forth. So annoying"
