"It’s truly an amazing and extremely satisfying experience after taking the 1st “Tech Help” session this morning. The quality and variety learning programs from adults to children, the staff ability and their genuine attitude helping people, and the excellent quiet and safe environment of this Westwood library is above and beyond we can ever hope or ask for in any local libraries. It really deserves the Best rating. The “Hi Tech” class I just took this morning is a one on one session which helps individuals to improve our knowledge such as using different devices, different software, and learning many great Apps in this fast changing internet world. I always feel awkward to ask my children (repeatedly) how to use certain features after I got this Mac Pro. The instructors(Andy and Moll) at the library were very patient. They allowed me to practice till I was comfortable to move forward to my next questions. Afterwards they showed me more classes which will definitely broaden my computer knowledge, especially learning many newer latest Apps. Now I’m looking for the future classes. My family are library goers and have visited many libraries in many states and different countries. Not too many libraries will offer such help to people regardless of age, gentle, experience, or knowledge. I’m very grateful for such a great library, the staff, and these special programs. Thank you."

"Had to spend an hour in Westwood many afternoons with one child while waiting for the other to finish her day at camp. This was the perfect place. Large, inviting spaces. Kids' room is comfy and well stocked. Staff are very friendly and understanding. They have puzzles and games that you can borrow -- just what we needed."

"The library is great, lots of places to sit, read, and study. Nice employees and accessible study rooms. Lovely library. Between about 2:30pm and like 5:30pm it is so SO loud. Kids and teenagers arrive and yell, scream, run all through the library non stop. It's really awful, and the staff doesn't ask them to even keep a normal speaking volume. They lay around on the floor, chairs, take up everything, just yelling, I don't understand how they can't even be a tad considerate. Then they get picked up and it's quiet again. Early dismissal days are even worse, it's louder. So if you want any quiet time don't go during these hours."

"Westwood library is absolutely wonderful, resourceful, and beautiful. There's a large "cafe" seating area on the first level for anyone with food or drinks. The children and media section are also on the first floor. On the second floor, one wing is fiction, and the other is nonfiction. Between the two is a beautiful "living library," where information on gardening, their seed catalog, etc. can be found. Along with the computers, including one at a standing desk!"

"Really nice space for kids and they have lots of programs for kids and a whole room for them. The parents were able to play scrabble while waiting for kids!"
