My great-aunt, Margaret Chalmers, made it known to me several years (decades) prior to her death (at nearly 110 years of age), that she wanted Ted Nichols of the Laughlin, Nichols, and Pennacchio Funeral Home to personally handle her arrangements at the time of her death. When that moment finally came, at 7 o’clock on a Sunday evening in January of 2012, there was no question in our minds as to whom we would call....within minutes, Ted Nichols himself was on the phone assuring our family that every detail would be seen to with the utmost of care and respect. The services that took place a few days later were fitting of royalty. Each and every detail was seen to in the most beautiful way. Our Aunt, Great Aunt, Great Grand-Aunt, neighbor, and friend, looked as if she were resting peacefully in the comfort of her family and dearest of friends. The services at the Church and cemetery were arranged and handled exquisitely. Many relatives, friends, and neighbors commented on how beautiful the services were. This could not have been accomplished without the guidance and assistance of our friend Ted Nichols, who throughout the years has taken care of many of our friends and neighbors in the most dignified way."

"The world's worst funeral home. It is imperative that NO ONE and I mean NO ONE use this funeral. Ted Nicholas is the rudest and most disrespectful person on the planet. He will be this way to anyone proven through my experience. My wife and I are trying to have our new born funeralized and prepared for his burial, but instead met with lies, deceit and a company that disregards protocol. Ted Nicolas ILLEGALLY, yes ILLEGALLY, obtained our son's remains. WORST FUNERAL HOME"
