"It's a great library with many engaging programs, a beautiful building, a large collection of books, and polite librarians. The teen and children's rooms are very nice, although they will be undergoing renovations next year, so they will not be accessible. It's a great place."
"Librarians are incredibly rude and condescending. I’m visiting from another country and when I was eating in a floor that food was allowed to be in, one of the librarians stormed up and scolded me for eating because apparently they had been telling kids “all year” that food wasn’t allowed in the SPECIFIC section, and that I should know better, even though I haven’t even been in America for very long. She made assumptions and made me feel extremely inferior just for being unaware food wasn’t allowed in that specific section despite there being no signs around stating that I couldn’t eat there??? Libraries are supposed to be a safe space, but with librarians like this, no wonder no one goes to libraries anymore. Do better Cary Memorial Library, and hire staff that genuinely like their job."
"I never left a review on any library before. I usually attend this library everyday with the child I care for. It’s by far the best activity for children I’ve seen in years. On spring break we decided to visit other libraries but it’s just made us miss our regular routine. The librarians are so kind and creative they truly engage with the children. They have a snack area with a lot space. I have been a nanny for 10 years and this is by far the best one I’ve gone to in terms of story time and dance party Wednesday. The children play area could improve for sure on their toys."
"The library is huge and has a lot of sections for different purposes. They have a whole floor for kids, a main floor for casual conversations, and a quiet floor if you need to study quietly. Very well kept and hosts lots of events!"
"Gorgeous big library with a great variety of books and other media for borrowing and even a section of books for sale."
