TD Bank

"I’m surprised to see such low reviews. I’ve had really pleasant experiences with the customer service at this bank. They’ve been kind, professional, proactive and informative. The only downside is that you can’t exchange foreign currency at this branch, but they helped me find a branch that had the currency I needed."

"My husband and I thought it would be convenient to use TD for our joint finances, they were anything but. First, they're sexist, never speaking to me, only my husband and wouldn't acknowledge my presence. Second we decided to close our account because it was not nearly as convenient as we liked, and the customer service was lacking. We weren't asked for identification and they didn't require both of us present to do that. That's rather unsecure for a banking institution. Then they insisted they couldn't close a credit card account and we'd have to call. Having to contact different customer service reps for the same bank is ridiculous. We're glad to be done with them. Save yourself the headache and pick a different bank!"

"I got a call from TD Bank claiming that they could take a point off my existing mortgage if I opened a checking account with them. This required me to go to the branch in person, in the middle of the work day to open the account. In over a decade of banking with my regular bank I have never once been asked to take time off from work to go to a brick and mortar location for any reason. In the end, my time was completely wasted because they have no such offer to take points off of existing mortgages if you open a checking account. A truly miserable and inconvenient banking experience. You have better options than TD Bank and if anyone tells you otherwise, they probably work for TD Bank."

"It is the most inconvenient bank I experienced in MA. The staffs at BoA are way more friendly than the unprofessional, casual staff in this branch. All she did was telling me that everything can be found on TD’s website, then just ask me to read what I have already reviewed before making my in-person appointment. I don’t think her career attitude matches her wage. I then went to BoA and got everything done smoothly."

"“America’s Most Convenient Bank”?? This was by far the worst branch I have ever been to. The staff are nice, but they are severely understaffed to the point where there were only 2 people working and with no line of customers I still had to wait over 30 minutes to be helped. Do better TD!! Very disappointing."
