"The staff is friendly, but they really need to work on being more detail oriented and careful. Twice now, I've had tellers at the Bigelow and main Watertown Square locations get information incorrect when I needed to put deposits down for buying a home. The first was a bank check where the name was spelled incorrectly and the amount was incorrect. The second time was for a wire transfer for the final deposit with a different name spelled wrong. Thankfully, I caught both errors, but this is totally inexcusable. The ironic part is that I told the teller about what happened the first time and yet this mistake still happened again, only with a wire transfer which could have been far worse. Instead of owning up to it, she claimed that she couldn't read what a specific letter was, even though the information was typed. I get that she must have been embarrassed, but I couldn't believe her excuse and it only made her look worse. None of the staff seem to understand mobile deposits and the app capabilities. Nearly every time I've tried to make a mobile deposit, I've received an error saying the amount exceeds my daily limit, even if it's well below it. I've had to waste time calling WSB to have them manually adjust the limit just so I can make a mobile deposit. They all have the same excuse: that they use a third party system that has issues. Maybe it's time that they change their system if it can't do something as simple as depositing a check..."
