Northern Bank

"I had a very bizarre and disturbing experience at this location. On April 4, 2024, my debit card was compromised for the 247,148,964th time. I went back inside and notified the staff of the issue however I told them not to cancel it as I didn't want to deal with the ensuing inconvenience once again. At which point the teller said, "I need to see your card.". When I asked why she kept repeating herself rather than answering my question. So I reluctantly handed her my card. A minute later she came back and said, "Here, your card is cancelled." I could not believe it! So I asked them to close out my account. I got a statement in the mail a week later stating that my account was overdrawn. It turns out they never closed out the account and I was hit with an overdraft fee of $35! On May 29th I finally went in to pay the fee and close out the account. This time I asked for verification that the account was in fact closed AND THEY REFUSED TO PROVIDE VERIFICATION. Frustrated, I spoke with Yomira Rosario, the manager. She confessed that she had witnessed the entire interaction on April 4. When questioned why she didn't intervene, she flew into a rage and kicked me out of the bank. On June 3, I received a No Trespassing letter in the mail. Stay away from Northern Bank. Stay away from the Mawn Mafia."

"REFUSE TO DEPOSIT MY DECEASED grandfathers check from his closed insurance account into his checking account to CLOSE HIS ESTATE. They said my MOTHER WHO IS EXECUTOR OF ESTATE AND TRUSTEE that so she can deposit it if she has her name added as payee. She returns with the corrected check and they tell her "I don't know who told you that..." and REFUSE TO DEPOSIT IT INTO HIS ACCOUNT. FILED STATE COMPLAINT."
