"Love this library! I come here a lot to work and the study rooms on the first floor are great and conducive to getting work done. The real “star of the show” of this library is the Kids Section. My 2 and 5 year old love the big playroom (especially the 2 year old) and my 5 year old loves the audio books and scavenger hunts. Also love all the reading challenges for kids they offer and programming! My 5 year old and I just attended “Animal Adventures” and he loved learning and petting (!) all the different animals the zookeeper brought with him. Please keep programming like this coming! And the fact they are open Sundays Labor Day-Memorial Day is awesome! We love our library and kid library, Ms Nicole!"
"Children were in swimsuits in the children’s section at the library. They were sitting on chairs in their wet bathing suits . Not only is it unsanitary but what kind of parent is that lazy? If you as an adult are wearing clothes so should your daughters. I told the librarian at the front desk and she didn’t seem to care at all . It says online there is a dress code but obviously not ."
"Various activities at library. Story time is my kids favorite"
"A very lovely library, but three adults (including a young librarian) have been chatting very loudly for at least half an hour now. This is, after all, a library. After I asked very politely, the young librarian responded, "This is a 'chatting area' (so we do whatever we like)." Firstly, that was very rude. Secondly, aren't you at work? Anyways, the three didn't stop chatting. Even older children can behave better."
"Adorable local library! They have great programs for kids. The librarian in the children was helpful and kind to all the kids. We loved the turtle and facts about it. The play section for kids had great open ended toys and seats for adults. Sorta a bummer how dirty the floors seemed to but know they can be busy with other more important parts of running a library. I recommended it to a friend she found good spot to study quietly too!"
