"The staff here is overwhelmingly incompetent. The first debit card they gave me didn’t even work and they are not helpful at all over the phone. They didn’t even call me back one time when they said they would. And they’re always trying to foist me off onto a phone number I can call. I remember when I would walk in the bank and be greeted by name; now they don’t even know who I am and they clearly don’t have the time to treat their customers individually anymore. So much for being America’s most convenient bank. Also I was hung up on this morning."

"This branch can't keep its stuff working right. The drive-through ATM card reader was sticky, felt like a skimmer was on it, and then the ATM read the (printed, not handwritten) check value wrong. I was not the only one with that problem. Then indoors, the teller's card reader couldn't read the card, and then they decided there was something odd on the account but even the manager couldn't figure out what. So they replaced the card, which means I may lose on online accounts linked to the old one. All the while not terribly concerned, as they plan to replace the bad ATM at some point so they aren't bothering to fix it. Not convenient. Not what you expect from a competent bank."
"Firstly, I love TD Bank. They "saved" me from my last bank so this an exception, but this particular branch will not be seeing me again. I needed a new card. To begin, the doors opened almost 20 minutes late. There was a family emergency of some sort for a staff person, so I can understand that. When I get in, the teller sounds fairly irritated with me from the time I asked about "can you help me with my card?" and is terse throughout our interaction. She was, quite frankly, very rude and unfriendly. She told me to wait "behind the wall" maybe 15-20 feet away for the manager. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I learn the manager has no idea I'm sitting there because she never told him. The teller than begins talking to me again when he comes out of his office from 15-20 feet away while I'm turned around with no possible way of hearing her. She tells me the card machine is broken, information she evidently had already because it broke yesterday. The manager confirms this and says I can go somewhere else. While this is happening, another customer has come in and said the ATM hasn't accepted his money and ate his card. The unfriendly teller told him that he should have taken his card when it was beeping and did not seem to be listening to him. Needless to say I was annoyed and will not be returning to this branch. I have never had a negative experience with TD Bank prior to this and have found their customer service impeccable and so this was a most unpleasant surprise."
