Otis Ridge Ski Camp

"I started skiing at Camp when it was Otis Ridge Junior Ski Camp at age 5. My dad, Bill Roach was one of the directors/instructors/ counselor and my mom Anne, was camp nurse/instructor/counselor. We spent every weekend and school holiday at Otis! It was the best place ever to grow up and learn to ski. The whole area was indeed our family. I loved Slalom and Ridge Run and the Poma! The T-bar was a welcome replacement to the killer rope tow! After being away for about 40 yrs I returned to find that nothing much had changed (except the Poma was a chairlift). It was delightful!! And one of the other counselor/instructor brats was now the director of Camp!! Dave Greenleaf! Otis is a magical place."

"Very nice sleep-away ski camp. I believe it's the only one in the area. Otis is a small mountain but it's not as busy so the kids are up and down quickly. The counselors were very nice and the instructors for my son's age level was good. According to my son, the food was good and the "bug juice." Dropping off of the camper was a bit strange, but all and all, no problems."

"Good customer service but bad/hazardous trails conditions. Only 1 chairlift, and 1 T bar lift. Warm weather may be part to blame, but multiple parts on the trail are icy and melted with water. No fence/net protection even for green trail and there are big stones/rocks along the trails. Hazardous conditions are likely cause injury if people fall."
