"Not our first visit to this fabulous, half-hidden lunch place in charming downtown Fernandina. We love how this place has a private courtyard away from the street. Order lunch at the counter and grab your drinks and a table outdoors. They'll bring your food to your table. Once again, we got some of their fabulous BBQ. It never disappoints. This visit, we ordered The Max, which is a pulled pork and pimento cheese on whole wheat bread, served with pickles and a bag of chips. We also ordered the Smoked Pulled Turkey, which is served on a soft roll with a side of pickles and a bag of chips. We also ordered a side of coleslaw and two Ice Teas for a filling and tasty lunch. I've had my eye on their BLT and might try it one of these times, but their BBQ is so good. All come with a choice of Sweet or Spicy BBQ Sauce or Mustard BBQ Sauce. The whole menu looks great and we've enjoyed their house-made cookies on another visit. Lunch only. Highly recommend."

"First time and I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. We ordered the roast beef, ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwich, and the pulled pork with pimento cheese. The max and the monster club were the names and they were very delicious. I highly recommend. For the sides we had pasta salad and potato salad. Both were delicious. The pasta salad was one of the best pasta salads I've had. The dressing was very tasty. For dessert, we split a giant cookie. It was clear that everything was made in house with fresh ingredients. The service was great. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Very quaint little garden tucked away from everything else. Really pleasant. Will definitely return."
